![]() About Evolve SkateboardsĮvolve Skateboards is an Australian electric skateboard company that was built out of the founders garage back in 2008. I didn’t get to do my full suite of electric skateboard tests, but I managed to get a good feel for the board and how it feels while riding.īut let’s get into it so you can learn everything you need to know about these Evolve GTR electric skateboards. I got to spend two half-days riding around on an Evolve Bamboo GTR Street and a Carbon GTR AT and I loved every second of it. You’ll find that overall, I am very positive about Evolve’s new GTR electric skateboards, and that’s mainly because I am truly impressed by them. To be completely transparent with you, they paid for my flight up there, but I sorted my own accommodation and all other expenses while I was there. I’ll start by saying that I wasn’t paid to do this review, nor was I given a free or discounted board. MMMBarbagallo MMMPukekohe PhillEVO Queensland Sandown V8SC (The entire folder) The DL is available here at No Grip as always, Head to the GTR Evo/Tracks section of the board to grab it.I was lucky enough to fly up to the Gold Coast to meet the Evolve crew at their HQ and see what they’ve been working on. Please be SURE to DELETE all of the following track folders from your game install's 'Locations' folder BEFORE installing the new v2.0 track pack. ![]() NOTE: New package contains many many files that WILL cause mismatch. The end result of this makes the camera’s bring the tracks to life, adding that extra level of immersion. Camera’s angles now feature Fly by wire camera’s, Dedicated pit lane camera’s, Drive over camera’s in ripple strips and Swinging boom camera’s on hairpins. Much time was spent perfecting these camera angles as based on the real world camera positions as was used by Australia’s Channel 7 TV station for broadcasting the 2011 V8 Supercars real world series. Of particular note are the newly revised CAM files for replays providing true to life camera angles via the TV display feature in the games “Replay Fridge”. New LOD loading screens featuring some very attractive eye candy have also been added as many had no or very basic LOD screens prior to this release. All tracks have been updated with current details on lengths, turns and lap records where available with current Flag icons applicable to the tracks location. Also of note all tracks are now housed conveniently within the V8SC category on the track selection screen making finding the Aussie content a whole lot easier and faster. The track pack features overhauled AI behaviors – as far as racing Dry lines, Wet lines, Slow lines, a host of graphical improvements such as rain reflections where previously missing, and, internal linings to pit garages to name a few. Many of the tweaks will provide the “Single Player” gamers of the world with improved playability in offline championships whilst also giving “Multiplayer players” many upgrades and improvements at the same time. This updates makes many major improvements to all tracks within overhauling all GDB, TRK, AIW and CAM files for a large improvement in overall stability, playability and immersion. It's been a long exhaustive process that has kept GreyBrad, Myself and MozzMann far too busy for far too long, but the release of the update is finally ready to rock and roll. Hello All Race07 / GTR Evo owner drivers, As promised after releasing the Aussie Track Pack v1.0 we have been continually working to update and improve the track pack on many levels.
